MEC (mountain equipment company outdoors store) used to be a CO-OP., you got to vote for the board and if there were profits they were split amongst the members via cheques. But something later happened around covid and the store was failing and sold out to an investor. Now it sucks and is super overpriced.

REI is a co-op outdoor store as well. I look forward to my dividend every spring!
