So it is currently 1:30 am and I just cannot sleep. I’m getting a septoplasty tomorrow and that’s all I’ve been thinking about. I’m actually not as nervous now as I was before, but still worried about how everything will go.
Am I overreacting? Has anybody else felt like this the night before surgery?
Yes, completely normal, you will be fine. I was in your shoes, stressed before the surgery. When I’ve woke up after surgery, my first thought was „Really? That’s it? It wasn’t that bad”.
Same! I was feeling out for months leading up to it. Turned out to be nothing at all.
Quickly followed by “ah, that’s the good stuff” when I click that sweet, sweet morphine button.
