The hugely popular and deeply humanitarian children’s content creator Rachel Griffin Accurso, known to millions of children as ‘Ms Rachel’, has revealed that she has been forced to hire bodyguards because of the severe escalation in Zionist and far-right threats made to her and her family.

The surge followed an announcement by the pro-Israel troll group “StopAntisemitism” that it had included her on the shortlist for its ‘Antisemite of the Year’ ‘award’ and intensified its campaign against her. Her main crime appears to have been hosting and paying for a birthday party for Rahaf, a three-year-old Palestinian child who lost both legs to an Israeli bomb in the Gaza genocide.

Ms Rachel — woman of the year

Woman of the Year Accurso is officially one of the world’s most influential entertainers. She has now outraged Israel lobby groups by daring to empathise with — and weep over — the tens of thousands of Palestinian children maimed and murdered during the post-October 2023 phase of the genocide.

Accurso, who is Jewish, stated that “constant attacks” by ‘StopAntisemitism’ had led to the spike in threats hurled at her. This comes after the account accused her of “Hamas-aligned propaganda.” The propaganda referred to is her posts and videos about the suffering of Palestinian children. Also for raising funds to help them.

The harassment has inflicted a significant psychological cost on Accurso’s children as well as herself. She said that her young son has been traumatised by accidentally overhearing conversations about her safety. He was terrified that something would happen to her.

The Zionist-funded ‘StopAntisemitism’ account presents as an organisation, but appears to be a one-woman outfit, run by Israel fanatic Liora Rez. It is responsible for a string of Islamophobic and pro-genocide claims and campaigns. These include the false claim that footage of slaughtered children in Gaza actually showed dolls.

List of previous winners

The list of previous winners and nominees reads like a Who’s Who of prominent and courageous anti-genocide figures. They include Ben & Jerry’s chair Anuradha Mittal, actor John Cusack, humanitarian activist Greta Thunberg, comedian Bassem Youssef, US lawmakers Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. Many of them mocked the award or even campaigned for it as a badge of humanitarian honour. On his nomination, Youssef quipped:

An Arab should win this people . Also don’t vote for @hasanthehun, too much of a good hair, he is too handsome, he can’t win good hair AND this vote. Too unfair.

I will be devastated if I lost to @GretaThunberg. Not her no… I don’t mind losing to
@johncusack I am a big fan anyways.

Neo-nazi Nick Fuentes did not make the list of 2025 ‘finalists’. The list has the likes of Jewish actor and politician Cynthia Nixon, Desperate Housewives actor Marcia Cross, The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian, left-wing commentator Guy Christensen and right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson — all for speaking out against Israel’s genocide in Gaza and US collusion in it.

Despite the cost, Accurso has said that she will continue standing up for children against genocide. “I will not back down.”
