With v293, or maybe it was 292/1, I was at the login screen when I opened the app, after it updated presumably. After logging in, all the Settings were reset. I logged into the same account, the one I’m using, and had to restore from an old backup. Lost user notes as the export was from earlier in the year. Hopefully the app can mitigate this with an automatic export before logging out or something.
Also a reminder to myself and the reader to backup your settinga more frequently. I should be doing so while on the beta builds.
Good to know this was an intentional change, rather than a bug which wiped out the settings.
Play is still showing me 293 so haven’t been able to update as of yet.
Just got a notification it went live on beta, so maybe 5 minutes from now it should show up. Cheers!
Got it! It’s still showing me the new settings, version shows “(db)”. I guess I need to delete the database to revert back?
Hmm, it should be seeing the old system and using that instead of the new db. Unfortunately it’s a bit hard to test on my side but let me try one more thing, I just pushed up a 295 and it should show up in about an hour or so.
