Anything new you’re picking up? A playthrough you’re finishing up? Playing the new Nightreign DLC? Let us know!

Bloodborne was the first one I played, and I think what helped me the most was to just play and get used to the game in addition to treating loss of blood echoes as unimportant. Sure, especially in the early game, echoes are precious because healing is limited and farming blood vials is annoying. But once I no longer feared losing my echoes and actually got to engage with the game and its mechanics, I had a lot more fun with the game and its exploration. I didn’t stress as much either.

What about you?

    Still playing a non-soulslike, Isles of Sea and Sky. Once that’s finished I might get into Code Vein.

    My first one was DS3 and there were two lessons that helped me;

    One, to let go of souls and stop caring about them. There are always more. It’s not worth the time or stress to pick them up every time, and once you lose them the burden is lifted.

    Two, for tough bosses learn their moveset. Don’t attack, just practice dodging and watching them until you understand them better. Then after a few rounds of that, start to attack when you know your openings.

      For point 2 definitely go in swinging the first time. Dont stress about dieing and learning yet. It’s the best feeling when you get a new boss first try. And playing defensively or cheeseing just isnt as satisfying.

        Yeah that would only apply if you get stuck. The most important rule is to have fun!
