These heavier vehicles typically produce more emissions, cause greater wear and tear on roads, and critically pose a significantly higher risk in the event of a road traffic collision.

Changing heavier vehicle more is the logical thing to do.

Charging the same regardless of weight would be unfair since everyone, including owners of lighter vehicules, would have to carry the cost of extra damages caused by heavier ones.

    Ew, don’t import our bullshit.

American cars are the worst on the planet, and unless you’re inside one, your life is in far more danger if one is nearby.

I’m afraid european carmakers are also catering to the overcompensating crowd.

Ban private cars in cities. It’s the only sustainable solution.

Unfortunately, the EU has committed to waving through oversized Yank-tanks, out of fear that if they don’t, Trump will throw them to the Russians

they were already thrown for the russians long long ago. the fact they are still compromising with the fascist empire only shows the ghoulishness of your leaders.

Critics call it “carspreading”. In the UK and across Europe, cars are steadily becoming longer, wider and heavier.
