Because they are children. Children scream when they get excited.
If you don’t like the noise then you, as an adult, can take action to not hear it. Turn your TV/Stereo up, put in some headphones or earplugs, close your windows. Taking away a child’s play area because you don’t like the sound of happy excited children is utterly deplorable.
Like yes, I agree with you, however I used to live near a playground and the sound of screaming kids can get pretty annoying after a while.
