Bud you gotta quit spamming your old posts.
My entire feed is their posts right now. I don’t know if I should block them or somehow put my phone down for the day. I do kinda like their art posts but that’s gotten spammy lately too. I blocked the shitpost community because of spam, you have me wondering if this was the original spammer lol
I’m honestly relieved I’m not alone in feeling like this. I hadn’t said anything at all because I assumed when people talk about how hard it is to keep communities alive and that it’s usually just 1 person posting for a long time until the community builds this was just part of it. But yea this user is a bit much for me as well.
I would argue that scheduled posts through a day or week would have a larger impact on participation in smaller communities like the art one. But I think since most of the spam today are memes, they’ll have a higher amount of participation anyway.
I’m more annoyed that I had to scroll really far to exit the Snoken posting wasteland, who knows how many smaller community posts I missed because of it? (also if you were around for the moth spam drama a few months ago, that was this user too. so they are aware they can be too much)
