Fair, but there is definitely a line between chatty and psychological warfare. Not all cats are built equal and some of them want to see it to that a good night’s sleep is forever out of reach. That’ll literally drive you crazy, regardless of what mindset the silly humie is bringing

Mine are fairly quiet vocally, but I’ll be God damned if they ever let me catch a full night’s rest. The hours of 3-5a are crash bang time.

yeah, i kept waking up with unexplained little bruises on my thighs and belly. stayed awake past midnight one night and saw my orange dishpit waggling his butt as he prepared to pounce on my crotch. bruises were the same size as his paws.

This is me and my cat.

During the day I love conversing with her but when she wants to kick me out of my room at 3 AM I question my sanity.

She has co-felines plus I give her all sorts of attention during the day, as well lol.

She just doesn’t like me being in “her” space too long sometimes 😂

Lol, feline war cries at 3am - to battle!
            (Stay strong.)

Explain to her that you talked about her oppressive habit online, maybe she’ll become introspective & reflect on the matter :D.

(Also I’m glad she has other normal cats around <3.)

Oof. I could not deal tbh. Closest I’ve come to this is a past roommates feline fellow (my two cats are more into claw-sports than yodeling; a very different kind of frustrating lol). He is otherwise a little sweetheart, but I definitely do not have the patience and strength of will she has in handling that near-everyday intrusion on her sleep. She is a saint, saddled with a cute little devil lol

We used to have a tabby that would wake me up at night for cuddles and pets. Often I’d lift up the blankets and she would curl up against me, under the covers, and stay there for 15-20 minutes (occasionally a lot longer).

          I miss her so much.

One of our tuxedo cats usually doesn’t wake me, but if he realizes I’m awake, he’ll sometimes demand pets and cuddles.
