Hi folks, I just joined kbin in an attempt to avoid R-word.
On kbin’s site there is a section about an upcoming app, I’d love to know more about it an how can I contribute.
I’m an iOS Developer and I would really like to help kbin grow fast and with the best experience possible.
The official project (if I can call it that) is made in Dart but I was looking for an app like Christian Selig did for R-word, Apollo, using the latest iOS technologies and with a familiar UI to the iPhone user.
I’m not even sure if this is the right magazine (I hate this name ahahaha) for this but I thought I’d give it a try.
There is someone developing an Apollo-like app for kbin. It’s called Artemis and you can find more information about it here
Why is there only 2 apps in development for kbin when there are so many for Lemmy? I’m so used to Sync for Reddit’s layout, but sadly they’re developing for Lemmy, too.
The API for kbin isn’t available yet. The kbin dev wants to polish it a bit more before releasing it. Making applications without an API is pretty hard. The Artemis app right now has a makeshift API to make it work with kbin.
