r/Art has quietly gone into lockdown and is no longer accepting submissions after mods began facing severe blowback for banning @haydclay for mentioning the word “print” on the subreddit.
I don’t think Lemmy is any better. The other day, a Lemmy moderator didn’t like a video I shared about the potential collapse of the US and banned me from eight communities. As far as I know, the video wasn’t even AI-generated, so I don’t know where he got that idea from.


I agree about reddit mods but you should be just as embarrassed about this post.
Why?
Being an asshole in the exchange you posted and as others said you were banned for trying to sell prints of AI “art” slop. Fucking pathetic lmao. The fact you are asking why is showing you have zero capacity for self reflection.
You seen to have missed that the one who posted this to Lemmy is not the same person that was banned from r/art. OP here isn’t the one arguing with the mod.
Okay but the point stands that this is a piss poor example because the mod is in the right here.
