In the app there is a button “Random Community” which leads to random Community.

I like the initial idea that you can explore random communities but sometimes it suggests you a community from an instance that is no longer inactive.

So i wish that the random community isn’t totally random but also do a check if that community instance still exists.

    Yeah, the random communities feature is semi-broken with lemmy v0.x - the workaround I’m using is flakey. In lemmy v1 it should be much improved :)
