Trump faced mounting losses this week in court on numerous fronts, both personal and presidential. An appeals court rejected Trump’s efforts to revive his defamation suit against CNN, a federal judge ruled against his deployment of National Guard troops to Washington, DC, and another judge ruled he likely violated the law when trying to cut millions in funding to local governments unless they followed conditions related to immigration enforcement. Former White House lawyer during Trump’s first term, Ty Cobb, joins “The Weekend” to discuss.

The US juridical system is not adequate to deal with Trump. If American courts would have dealt quick and precise with Trumps actions from the very start, his actions would have hit the wall way faster.

      *Judicial

      I mistakenly corrected OP.

Juridical: relating to judicial proceedings and the administration of the law.

I used “Juridical” instead of “Judical” on purpose here. It’s the general system of law that failed, not just the judges and procedures.

Indeed. Their criminal (ex) president went to jail for the attempted insurrection.

It’s not adequate to deal with any sufficiently wealthy person really.

Which is another reason such wealth should be taxed away.

The system was sufficient before they stole the copper… it’s just that this is a bipartisan effort to position the economy for a coming storm centered around overpopulation of workers as compared to needed workers. Union busting is a bonus.
