        one year the ice was so bad there was six inches of it stuck on the roads. nobody was out but I had to leave town for work.

        I slid down the main street in town, on a hill, through eight stop signs in a row. yes EIGHT. when I finally came to a stop, I stopped screaming and holding down the horn. the only thing that saved me was the high gutters on either side of the street and the fact that nobody parked on the hill (probably because they couldn’t make it up the hill).

        I sat there for a good 5 minutes before I saw someone else sliding down the hill and decided to leave before they hit me.

        I moved out of town before next winter, fuck that backwards shithole.

    Except stop signs are shaped like that, so drivers on the other side can also see it, so there’s no excuse for that.
