      I’d rather McCarthy is wasting his own time and effort on performative bovine excrement, than that people are actually being hurt by Red Scare nonsense. Yes, it’s stupid. But stupid resolutions and proclamations that do nothing are a lot better than anything that happened during the height of the Red Scare.
