Thanks! That was a tough one. I tried to use a dremel at first, but tin snips worked the best.

How does it sound and play?
Sounds pretty grungey, but that’s exactly what I want. It shreds, must to my surprise. I thought it would have turned out a wall hanger considering I redid the wiring harness.
I’ve betrayed Fender years ago. They make sexy looking guitars, but I would argue that at the Player Strat/Tele price point, Yamaha makes better guitars. And Godin is a far superior guitar company comparing price points.
That looks awesome! How did you give it that wood plank look? Reminds me a bit of James Hetfield’s guitar that is made of the garage they used to record in.
Thanks! I took a circular saw and set the blade depth really low. Like 1/8". Then I used a nail set and pounded in what looked like nail holes.
