    But not ongoing payments. And I’d own physical disks so that I can watch it whenever I like without paying more.

      You have a very weird moral system you’ve set up there for enjoying entertaient media.

      • won’t stream it because you dislike the corporate owner.
      • won’t pirate it (even though all the show makers/actors/artists/etc are already paid at that point, just leaving the corporate owner you dislike)
      • will buy it as a once-off purchase (still supporting the corporate owner you dislike).

      Yep that’s confusing me.
