I find myself in possession of some very heavy slabs that were clearly the top of an old billiards or pool table. There are 3 pieces in total, all of which look to be in great shape aside from the holes in the pocket locations. They are heavy as FUCK.
Throwing them away seems like a waste but there isn’t anything immediately coming to mind to use for them besides maybe a table top or something which doesn’t sound very exciting. Cutting them isn’t out of the question but I don’t have the tools for that on hand.
What sort of stuff would you do with them?

Welp, being a guy that works with me mittens a lot: chop up parts and sell off as tru-flat surfaces? Good for sanding down other surfaces on a flat one.
I’m not looking to make money on them. If I’m not able to come up with something I’ll give them away to someone else to do something cool with.
I hadn’t thought about using them as a true flat sanding surface. Considering how large they are and some of the projects I find myself working on sometimes that’s a good shout. That might be a good use for one of the sections. Thanks!
