    It also raises the obvious question… What’s wrong with destroying Trump’s presidency?

    I had quite a conservative upbringing, and considered myself a conservative when I was a very young adult. But I never would have thought that one person was more important than my own beliefs. We are supposed to live in a representative democracy, where if one politician is disgraced, then you boot him to the curb, and go root around in the trash bin for the next politician. It’s not like there’s a shortage of politicians.

      Similar upbringing and path. It’s felt terrible to learn so many friends and family don’t actually care about policy, democracy or even freedom as much as they want to hate a “liberal” and want their politician to do the same.
