Replace Middle East with South America and it’s the same.

The USA is not a force for good on this planet.

I disagree. 100%. I am a force for good on this planet. I am USA. Sorry if you live here and suck.

If you live in thd USA and also say “The USA is not a force for good on this planet.” 99.9% chance you are too unmotivated to even volunteer to help anyone besides yourself.

I spend too much time working through various means to do what I can for thd less fortunate -thd homeless- in my area. I dont exactly expect “the USA” to be a force for good always, its the people that

One person isn’t USA just like one person isn’t humanity. What people do alone and what people do in groups are very different things. There a millions of people who do acts of good sometimes, but as a whole, humanity is crap. We pollute, we rape, kill, torture, maim, rob, steal, embezzle, blackmail, waste, destroy, and so much more.

I mean, not yet. But it COULD be. It could’ve been that, so many fucking times. The United States could do some insanely useful shit for the world. Has the money and the population to do so much. Instead, we put it all towards bombing civilians in Gaza and subsidizing billionaires. The frustrating part is that once in a while, things have looked like they’ll get better. After the end of WW2, it could’ve done so much. But it didn’t. And it hasn’t. And the way that things are looking, it won’t anytime soon.

I’ve heard worrisome speculation about the white house working up to invading Venezuela. Supposedly officials are talking to oil industry executives about investment opportunities after a regime charge, and those conversations sound a lot like conversations that took place before the Iraq invasion.

Edit: Oh damn, the situation has escalated more than I realized https://unac.notowar.net/no-war-on-venezuela-all-out-for-a-week-of-emergency-protests/
