I don’t actually know where I could be sent back to. Has the Jewish Slav diaspora mostly returned to the old Polish-Lithuania area, or did most of that crowd end up heading to Israel?

Also how are we defining legal? My family changed our last name and lied about our ancestry because the U.S. was denying Jews at the time, but I think everything else was legal by the laws of the time. That’s kinda why this argument doesn’t hold up. The genocide of the natives was horrible, certainly, but a pretty large number of people didn’t actually show up in the U.S. until much later. Are we still responsible for the crimes a country committed decades or even centuries before we started living there? because that opens up a much, much bigger can of worms globally.

Just call people out for being racist if they’re being racist, which most of the types screaming about illegal immigration are. but there are people with legitimate concerns around legal immigration.

if you’re talking about a genocide, don’t follow it up with a “but”.

there are people with legitimate concerns around legal immigration.

no, there are not. people are real, borders are fake shit invented by shitty people to make themselves feel better than others based upon where they were born. the only problem with illegal immigration is that dumbasses are making laws about who gets to go where in the first place.

borders are as extant as time or justice, which is to say they’re a made-up concept that exists with a purpose. Immigration does have a purpose, unless we’re going to suddenly get rid of all countries and go to a stateless society which isn’t any time soon. People deserve to be able to have the laws and benefits of citizenry apply to them. Illegal immigrants effectively get the shittiest end of the stick by contributing to a country and receiving almost none of the benefits. The biggest problem with illegal immigration in the US is that the immigration courts are so backed up and underfunded that legal immigration is damn near impossible, forcing people into precarious and sometimes even dangerous situations. if you don’t think that’s a legitimate concern, then I have nothing else to say to you.

way to miss the point entirely. there shouldn’t be citizens or illegal immigrants because there should be no difference between how two human beings are treated, and even if there was then white americans sure as fuck shouldn’t have an opinion on it. that’s the whole fucking point of the meme.

if you don’t think that’s a legitimate concern, then I have nothing else to say to you.

Interesting that you choose not to engage with their legitimate point. Almost as if you have no idea what your talking about and just wanted to tell at people in the Internet.
