Well maybe, I guess I will see. But I certainly am not moving and I will be calling out Russian propaganda so let’s see if I get banned - at least it will be clear where lemmy.ml stands if that happens.
I’ve spent a few months in Russia. I communicated in (fairly bad but improving) Russian and I liked the Russian people, but clearly they are now a threat to Europe, and are without doubt in the wrong regarding their ‘3 day special military operation’ in Ukraine.
They are looking for a fight and a weapon they absolutely use is misinformation on social media, so it is what it is, unfortunately. Currently lemmy.ml is allowing Russia to use a weapon of hybrid warfare. I know that sounds extreme but it is about trying to prevent a situation like in Ukraine in other European countries. German kids are now looking at conscription. These more extreme scenarios are what any rational person wants to see avoided.
