    The real problem is a lack of taxation. It should be harder to make money the more you have. Not easier. Just like in sports it should be harder to play in college than high school and harder still in the pros.

      No, I meant civilization. Perhaps “society” would be an acceptable substitution. Now if you’re asking if capitalism is the cancer that causes the tumorous growths of horrible, soulless billionaires? – that I would I answer in the affirmative. Capitalism, however, can be constrained by people if there is will to do so. Human greed and the lust for unbridled power seems to mitigate that potential constraint.

    I would argue instead “civilization” itself is the problem being always built to centralize power and maintain the current ruling class.
