A bit weird imo. Why US gas and Greece? Are their harbours even Greek still, thought they sold (most of) them to China?
Most liquid gas storages, converters etc are in the North. It’s a shorter trip and the infrastructure is there already. Also with Artic routes opening up and Canada preparing to ship gas, the Northern harbours will only grow.
Ah I see the article doesn’t present a correct context, its all part of the Chinese Belt & Road iniative for Southern-Europe.
