Note: the soldiers are accused, including in statements from medical staff, of gang raping a Palestinian prisoner with a knife.
Reputational damage.
The remaining 0.00000152% of people for whom genocide is just dandy, but raping prisoners with truncheons is an absolute red line are totally livid now, and will never forgive Israel.
