We all know how it would actually be implemented. Workers will see no reduction in expected output compared to a 5 day week, and their pay will effectively be cut to 4/5th of what it was previously without a corresponding raise in hourly rate. They will most likely lose benefits because they “aren’t working enough hours” to be considered full time.
Without corresponding societal changes first, workers will get even more screwed than they already are.
