As I walked to my car in the guest parking lot on the other side of the planet in my best suit, a random dude stops his car to say “Bro, you look fuckin nice”

Made my day.

I got the job offer, quit my shitty job I had at the time a month before the new job was to start so I could get everything moved to a new city, the Covid hit and the job offer was withdrawn and I didn’t qualify for unemployment because I’d left the first job voluntarily and never actually started the new job :(

Things are going great now, though.
