The problem is, each of those sides, wants a revolution against the other side, at the behest of their particular color of oligarchs. Democrats version of a revolution is voting in another blue fascist so they can all go back to brunch. Republican revolution is just murdering minorities and Democrats.
It’s nothing like the Russian revolution though… Neither side in America wants to actually depos the oligarchy. And even if they did depos the current ruling party, there no collective proletariat force to then ensure rights for the working class. One side just wants to get rid of the current fascist for a quieter one, and the other side just wants to murder minorities and anyone who doesn’t agree with fascism. The “revolutionary potential” in America is not one that would bring about better conditions for the working class.
They just want the oligarchy to be wearing their teams colors, that’s it, because that’s all politics is in America. It’s sports teams. Red team vs blue team because none of them actually understand any kind of political theory. It’s just “my team good, their team bad. Things are good when my team is winning, things are bad when the other team is winning.” Their “revolution” is not “let’s make a new team.” It’s “we need to kill the other team.”
I’m addition to all this, the Russian revolution succeeded because they had garnered the support of certain factions within the military. Support that does not exist in the American military. Not only that but they have a militarized police force equipped and trained specifically to fight against civilians. And that police force is also on the side of one of the two teams. Specifically the one wanting to just go kill minorities at random. They are the ones doing most of those killings already…

The only way to have people understand is show them. The US is nearly completely deindustrialized which means you have essentially no skilled crafts which means everyone is dependent on import of products or bullshit jobs. This will implode BIG TIME.
So again, this is going to kill a two digit percentage of the population and there is no way around this. The only thing that can be changed is that one could make it 80% by launching nukes.
