Idk when exactly this surged to much, but when I go outside now I see “Festung Europa” and other Nazi stickers basically everywhere, also “Deutschland erwache!” graffiti in prominent places without anyone caring to remove them. I feel like I am going insane. It seems as though defending migrants when someone says they are all criminals and “human trash” that needs to be “wiped off the streets” just makes me a criminal supporter in the eyes of almost everyone, it is like their brains melted so much they cant even spot the simplest logical fallacy.

American social media are just almost purely propaganda platforms now, but everyone keeps using them because they have grown addicted.

What will the final result of this be? Absolute obedience to a political system that shits on every poor person while they still vote for it? Deportation of every migrant because they believe it will eliminate crime?

They behave like bullies that use psychological violence over physical violence like fascists in the past, and they will deny being fascists but behave exactly like them.

It feels so hopeless

I just needed to write down my thoughts, have a nice day

The neoliberalism ideology, put forward in the 1980s by Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, produced the collapse of the industrial complex in every country in the so called “western world”. Since countries in Asia were much more populated and poor, western capitalists aimed at greater profits by transferring their production facilities to Asia and exploring the cheap (almost slave) labor.

As a consequence, massive unemployment and a degradation of work quality followed in the western societies. Since the local worker had become disposable, there was no need to sustain the social contract of welfare state, that is, the institutions created in the beginning of the XX century to maintain the readiness of workers to work, by providing education, health treatment, etc. This caused the decrease in the quality of life for the major part of the working-class citizen.

Turns out that Asian countries did not accept the role of “eternal slaves” dreamed by the western capitalist, and they managed to ride the wave and organize their societies. Thus the influence of western capitalists are decreasing globally and they are trying to create a “cold-war-like” atmosphere and reroute resources to military, so that they can impose their will by force on the Asian (and developing) countries.

One way of doing that is fascism. Stating their “national superiority” give them a god given right to subject others by force. And having this external enemy redirect the anger of the people away from the capitalists.

      Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan

actually they were just the consequences of milton friedman and frederik hayek and their ridicilously stupid understanding of macro and micro economics. It all started in early 1970s (they were given a nobel economics prize in 1974…).

Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan were just the symbolic puppets there.

Actually, Friedman and Hayek are ideologues. They created a theoretical body to justify the changes in policy the West started to apply during Thatcher and Reagan times (but first tried in Chile and other places). All those actors represent the growing financial capitalist elite, who took control the politics in most of the world, directly and indirectly.
