I really like the way he describe creatures, when i was reading An The Mountains of Madness, as long he was describing th Elder Ones anatomy i was drawing a mental picture in my mind.

I simply was “hold on, this can’t be right” and search for a picture online, it just perfectly matches with i throught and i was “HOLY SHIT, it really is like that”
