Just going to once again plug that Hamas is the name of the publicly elected government of the territories of Palestine, elected in 2006 to help restore order after the third-to-last “war” with Israelis.
B) Nobody likes Hamas, so an Israel v. Hamas war sounds much more positive, even though the vast majority of people being killed have nothing to do with Hamas.

It’s Israel’s framing because
A) They don’t believe that Palestine exists
and
B) Nobody likes Hamas, so an Israel v. Hamas war sounds much more positive, even though the vast majority of people being killed have nothing to do with Hamas.
