is people talking about a movie they saw on a movie board also an advertisement in your definition of the word?

Its not the same. The people are not talking about monster energy because of the taste or the effect, they are talking about it because of their marketing. It would be like people talking about a movie because of poster they saw.

i don’t see how that is different, people are discussing things they enjoy and the community that has developed around that.

the queer and trans communities making monster a common character trait has even advertised to, like if understand if they had specifically done a unch of shit but unless you consider them sponsoring https://www.capitalpride.org/pride_sponsors/ or their corporate ass “diversity” page https://www.monster.com/about/diversity-and-inclusion/ I don’t think they’ve done much to encourage trans people to drink their drink

would you think the weed community sending a stoner meme is the same thing? I wouldn’t consider that an advertisement

would you consider a video game sub talking about an update an ad?
