there were people parroting this “choose the lesser evil” shit regarding US politics a good 150+ years ago…it was wrong then and it’s wrong now.

choosing the lesser evil instead of doing the right thing is how stuff got as bad as it is now, why would repeating that action somehow work this time?

Brain dead take that pretends there is a magic third option.

You types can always say what is wrong, but inevitably when asked what is right, you have either the most ridiculous, obviously impossible plan ever or one that straight up helps the worse evil.

I’m all ears though. Lets hear your genius “the right thing” that I’m sure is so realistic.

could start by not having candidates deny basic observable objective reality during interviews, nobody wants to vote for a lier.

but if you have to choose between two liers, choosing the worse one…the one open and proud in their corruption, is the just the smart move.

I know the republican is going to try and fuck me over if i don’t pay his game, and probably still will try to fuck me over even if i do. the establishment dem? them…i have to do a wholeass prope into their entire life history to see when/where their corruption will fuck me over.

playing with the devil you know vs the one you don’t is just good business sense.

so…for starters, maybe don’t deny the US has been supporting a genocidal theocracy for decades, all just to destablize the ME, test weapons, and generally ratfuck public funds for our MIC.

This is not a plan for what the people should do. This is hoping that the party magically changes without your input.

but if you have to choose between two liers, choosing the worse one…the one open and proud in their corruption, is the just the smart move.

This is an insane take. Basically “Its ok to let minorities die because at least the people killing them are honest”.

The crazy thing is, they’re not.

Trump admin by all accounts lies the most of any.

the establishment dem? them…i have to do a wholeass prope into their entire life history to see when/where their corruption will fuck me over.

Which is so, because they aren’t anywhere near as bad.

playing with the devil you know vs the one you don’t is just good business sense.

Except thats just a naive and childish take of the situation.

so…for starters, maybe don’t deny the US has been supporting a genocidal theocracy for decades, all just to destablize the ME, test weapons, and generally ratfuck public funds for our MIC

And as expected, just some fantasy wishing and no actual plan.

obviously the trump admin lies about everything…that’s why most people vote R…as I said they’re predictable in their corruption/backroom deals, if you want to do business in their states you must pay their bribes.

dems arent, are you dealing with a snake like Schumer/Pelosi? A Dino like Fetterman? or worse, someone naive to how the world works? and sure…somewhere in that pile of shit and mediocrity there are some diamonds, but who the fuck wants to dig through shit to find it?

anyone can plan for max pain, so it becomes easy to protect your own family/business/local community/not too mention make a shitload of $ off the stock market casino

This is such poor reasoning I don’t think its worth it to continue.

You have a hard time figuring what is good or bad with one party, indicating its mixed, and have an easy time knowing its all bad with a different party, so you choose all bad?

Just insanity. This is toddler logic. Actually, I don’t think toddlers are this bad at decision making.

not too mention make a shitload of $ off the stock market casino

This literally makes no sense and is something an edgy teen who doesnt understand shit or an out of touch rich person knowing they can buy up all the things poor people are losing would say.

…the majority of this country lives paycheck-to-paycheck and reads at a 6-8th grade level… do you honestly think they’re using advanced logic?

most are acting on pure emotion and instincts, most don’t even have the freetime to pay attention to politics even if they wanted to. those are the people anyone trying to change this fucked up game needs to reach, and you won’t reach those people by lying to them about basic objective reality.

now…giving them 5% of the truth and filling the rest in with bullshit…that’ll work, as long as the other option still refuses to acknowledge objective reality
