Donald Trump is attempting to change the Constitution so he can serve a third term as president. As if one more coat of fake tan is what the US really needs.
EXCLUSIVE: A leaked CPAC press memo shows the “Third Term Project” hosting a Feb. 20 event titled “The Case for Presidential Tenure Reform.”
They’re openly arguing for a constitutional amendment to let Trump serve up to three terms; citing “unfinished business” and… pic.twitter.com/wpDlnXUyCV

The Twenty-Second Amendment of the US Constitution states:
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.
Stop the bullshit. He can’t and will not run. He does this so people think he has power. He does not. He’s weak and a lame duck. Act like it. Stop cowering.

This means it’s not a decision for Mr Fake Tan to make – the constitution made it for him.
However, Section three of the Fourteenth Amendment states that:
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
But in 2021, the courts charged Trump with plotting to overturn his 2020 election defeat after the riots at the Capitol. Which is literally the definition of an insurrection.
The 14th Amendment unequivocally prohibits an insurrectionist from being president yet here we are.

He was also accused of four counts, including conspiracy to defraud the US, tampering with a witness and conspiracy against the rights of citizens. So much for the sanctity of the constitution.
Trump believes he’s above the law
And, when has Trump ever obeyed the law? And let’s face it, when are there ever repercussions?
They’re saying it out loud because there’s never any repercussions. https://t.co/lw0NdZRRxc

He has literally shut the government down to avoid releasing the Epstein Files. Nothing says innocent like shutting the whole government down. Did he think he could turn the whole country off and everyone would forget?
He’s already reached the heights of a fascist dictator, but he wants to take it further. He wants to be Putin.

Trump does what he wants – and he seems to get away with it because he’s in the back pockets of the billionaires. It says it all when a billionaire illegally bankrolls the military because Trump shut the government down.
We have watched Gen Z take a stand and protest against government corruption and police repression in Peru, Nepal, and Madagascar, proving that when the people take direct action, they can create change.
Ultimately, social media users are mad, but until people rise up en masse and actually do something, nothing will change.

Trump isn’t trying to change the constitution–as Jon Stewart put it, he’s ripping its head off and shitting down its neck.
