A person who believes that they are better than everybody else can sit smugly in the corner and be superior in peace. I think you are giving them far too much credit. Just as there are short people and tall people and skinny and fat, there are people that don’t have a lot going on upstairs. When I heard that 50% of people don’t have an inner monologue I was astounded. I thought it not to be true. That someone had to have fucked up. Seeing all this play out, it makes way more sense.
