> TIME magazine has released the transcript of its phone interview with US President Donald Trump on October 15.

During the interview, the magazine pointed out that Trump had informed Netanyahu that he would not allow him to “annex” the West Bank, as there are still forces within Netanyahu’s coalition pushing for “annexation”. The magazine then asked Trump about the potential consequences if such a move were to proceed.

Trump replied, “It won’t happen. It won’t happen. It won’t happen because I gave my word to the Arab countries. And you can’t do that now. We’ve had great Arab support. It won’t happen because I gave my word to the Arab countries. It will not happen. Israel would lose all of its support from the United States if that happened.”

On another note, when asked about M@rw@n B@rgh0uti, whom TIME described as “seen by many as the one figure who could unite Palestinians behind a two-state solution. He tops most polls amongst Palestinians for whom they would vote for in a presidential election,” Trump responded, “I am literally being confronted with that question about 15 minutes before you called. That was the question. That was my question of the day. So I’ll be making a decision.”
