I’d like to get ahead of NYPD virtue signalling against ICE in the wake of the Canal St raid: One of the most vivid memories I have involving police was from maybe around 2010, when I watched a roid-raging NYPD cop literally flip a small Chinese lady’s Canal St trinket table into the air, scattering and breaking her wares across the sidewalk, screaming repeatedly “DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND ME?!? DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND ME?!?” as she sobbed in terror on her knees from the asphalt below him.

This is not the most egregious personal anecdote I have concerning NYPD.
