She has one of those faces that can look so different with a different hair / makeup combo, imo. I didn’t recognise her at all as Mrs McMurray, despite watching the entire Wynonna Earp series. Though I did have a “Hey, I’m sure I know her from something” feeling in Star Trek.
In all fairness I am a bit faceblind in general haha. Also have to give credit to her acting chops as the way she holds herself / speaks is so different in those roles.

I’ve seen every episode of both shows and this didn’t occur to me once. She doesn’t even look different, she’s just a great actress.

She is only in a little bit in the Strange New Worlds, and nothing like Mrs McMurray, lol. As soon as I saw her though I have not been able to get the idea of her doing a McMurray mumble on a starship. It’s a great show though and has some fun and dramatic episodes mixed in.

I’ve been out of the loop on most of the recent series, but there still isn’t really cursing like this in Star Trek, is there? I remember thinking it felt really natural to have the BSG reboot characters yelling “Frak!” all the time. Even though it was technically a PG cuss, the way they made every use of it come out so Anglo Saxon-sounding. It just makes sense that every once in a while someone’s got to get some swears out, even in space.
I wish! I know starfleet is the epitome of smarts class and innovative humans, but damn, not one shit or fuck with all the stuff they deal with and mental strain applied regularly?!
