Is the last state of a correctly shitdown #VirtualBox OS not in the .vdi but somewhere hidden in the snapshot or elsewhere? Should one consolidate it somehow before exporting the Virtual HD?
I converted a .vdi to an #Hyperv .vhdx and, amongst the many magics in between, it seems one of the users seems rolled back to some original state once accessed in #Microsoft hyper-v
