Oh no, another increase I will not have to pay or think about after 5 minutes from now
Isn’t it strange they’re doing this multiple times a year?
Really really strange.
Confusing, even.
Bizarre
odd, all the HBO shows I have in my Jellyfin intance are still the same price… hmmm
Saw that shit and immediately canceled my subscription as a protest.
Cancelled them after wild goosechasing their content:
- Me: Lets rewatch the last season of West World.
- HBO Max: We offloaded that content to Hulu.
- Me: ?!?!? So you dont stream your own premium quality content? Why and which content-manager had that brain-dead idea? Never mind I will check Hulu.
- Hulu: Sorry mate we dont stream to you country (in the EU) and we will be part of Disney!
- Disney: We are glad to bring Hulu into the fold. Check all this new content!
- Me: OK Disney, give me West World on Hulu.
- Disney: Sorry, not that content, can I interest you in some live action fairytale?
- Me … I give up.
They did you a favor with the last season of Westworld.
Oh … that feels like a relieve …
I love my Jellyfin/qbit pi more and more every day
It’s a $1-2 per month increase.
FWIW I cancelled HBO Max a couple years ago once Barry ended because there was nothing new worth watching and they had started to go full tilt into reality TV at the time. Peacemaker was good but it was going to be years until season 2. I didn’t really care for House of the Dragon.
Two years later there’s still not anything new worth subscribing for. I picked up The Last of Us and Chernobyl on Blu-ray.
It’s a $1-2 per month increase.
Give it three months.
Y’all are still watching TV?
