I think they make the end look more mysterious. An overhaul of the End is definitely needed though :P

    I like the idea but I feel like it makes a lot of the endstone look almost greenish? It looks a little off to me

    Kinda awful tbh. All of vibrant visuals looks really bad and runs terribly, especially compared to the wonderful shaders java edition has had access to for over a decade now.

      I find the flashes annoying and taking from the endless void of the end, But I do like the lighting and incredible shadows in the overworld. I think for the most part it’s more about getting used to it.

    I just installed the Complementary shader pack (and Iris, via CurseForge, a bit of a process), and I’m really liking the feel they picked for the End. Aurora-like background, stars, varying light of indeterminate origin. It feels magical and space-like.

    I agree the End could use some love though. Beyond finding some Elytra and making an Enderman XP farm, not a lot of reason to hang out there.
