    When contacted by the Guardian for comment, an automatic response from the US Capitol police public information office was sent that said the office is “closed for routine business” during the funding-related federal government shutdown that began on 1 October. “The office will reopen when the federal government is funded,” the response said.

    So…they are NOT investigating at the moment.

      Thanks to this farce/circus/tragicomedy (I just can’t pick a good epithet today!) called “The Government Shutdown 2025” there’s just no one on this. But be assured, my fellow Americans, as soon as this goshdarned Shutdown is resolved we’ll get a crack team right on it, investigati…investi…uh, what were we talking about?
