trolling accomplishes absolutely nothing and just makes community spaces worse to be in. the age old addage of how to make the internet work has been “don’t feed the trolls. block and report”

i’m taking it on good faith right now that you mean well and just don’t have experience on how to be an effective communicator. always remember, the right divides, the left unites. even if you think you’re trolling for lefty causes, by engaging in that form of rhetoric you are empowering the right wing opression. this isn’t me saying “when they go low we go high” mind you. this is about the kinds of down in the mud we should be doing. we should be disempowering their demogogues (the president is literally so fragile he has to say every man he meets is openly sobbing when it happens), not harassing individuals
