Last time I went I just jogged to a convenience store and got whatever hot food was there and it was cheap as fuck and so good. I understood why Americans are such fat fucks at that point.
Yeah. I mean even in Canada we have like fruits and veggies and hard boiled eggs and meats at our corner stores if you want a healthier option for quick. But we aren’t THAT much better than the states, although it is noticeable when you go there.
Sometimes ya kind of gotta look for em but they’re there at like every one in Alberta. I do some pretty hardcore calorie counting so maybe I notice more than others.
The food is crazy expensive on the strip, but theres some good cheap stuff elsewhere. Fremont has some good stuff, my favorites were Binion’s Cafe and Tacos and Miches.
This is how I do my vegas trips (usually work related) it’s just the food is insanely priced even if you don’t do the normal Vegas stuff.

The ready to eat meals at all the corner stores in Japan are very good indicators of why this is the case too. So many healthy options. It’s insane.
Also lots of absolute garbage but the option is nice.
