So I hope this is ok but its not a daily game site but this community got me doing suduko some more. From a search I randomly came across https://sudoku.com/killer/hard/ and its fine. Thing is it had this option for killer you could see in the url and I was curious but honestly soduko is challenging enough that I was like. Welllll maybe once im back in the groove with some practice. Anyway I finally clicked on it and I found out it just has an element for using addition and sometimes called sumduko (a name I like a lot better). So far honestly I think easier since you have two ways to find solutions but I like it because I think its nice to practice basic math skills. Like at the store I like to figure price per unit in my head (and because the store likes to mix and match the base units between products). So I feel it eliminates more the the busy work of marking up the puzzle and adds in a bit of basic practice in using simple addition in a fun way. Maybe I will get bored of it but for now its the version of suduko I will be doing.
I occasionally do the killer expert puzzles on that site, but man, sometimes interface drives me nuts. Especially when I want to enter notes and didn’t turn them on properly. I don’t like the 3 mistakes thing, either.
Now that I played it the difficulty spike from medium to hard is massive. I have not even tried expert yet.
Same here with the interface. So many of my “mistakes” are really just notes mode turned off.
Try out vudoku it uses addition and subtraction it gets hard but its a great twist
ooh thanks. I was thinking about how it would be nice to have all the simple maths in a puzzle. will do a search
