    The whole “leave packages at the door thing” has made it’s way to the UK for all but the main post office. It was used in COVID as a way of keeping distance but now it’s just for efficiency and I hate it.

        Theres an entire section of youtube devoted to fucking with people who steal packages. How have you not seen it yet for decades now.

        Hasn’t happened to me yet so I have no idea.

        They don’t even ring the door bell most of the time, they just let their Amazon email notification tell you it’s delivered which I don’t even notice for awhile.

        The shipper will have proof they delivered it - they take pictures these days. Beyond that it is the home owner, and the police.

        Though if you report a missing package once, or twice, a year. The retailer will often just send your order again for customer support.
