      I feel like we either don’t understand each other.

      That is my argument.
      You can remove that context for the legality part.

      I am the one saying that it shouldn’t matter why I punched a cop & that I should be prosecuted for that.
      (Just like they if they punch me.)

      You can just say you don’t agree with the legal systems.
      We can all have our opinions.

      And again, it’s not that context doesn’t matter overall, it’s just that assault is still a crime regardless.
