I’m appalled and saddened to hear that Tilly Norwood’s brief but dazzling career has abruptly ended due to an unforeseen tragedy.
After six long days of existence, the AI actress heralded as the “future of cinema” and “the first digital star who doesn’t complain about contracts” has been officially pronounced forgotten.
Sources close to the project report that Tilly’s untimely demise was caused by a catastrophic case of public indifference. Despite a major PR campaign, fake behind-the-scenes leaks, and carefully orchestrated influencer endorsements, audiences grew weary of her flawless cheekbones and nonexistent personality faster than you can scroll past an ad.
The production studio has confirmed that they will not attempt a reboot, citing “a lack of human interest.”
Tilly leaves behind no filmography, no legacy, and no grieving fans - only a press kit, a derelict Instagram account with disabled comment section, and a cautionary tale about believing your own marketing.
May she rest in perpetual beta.
Explain to me how “clanker” and the n-word are on the same level here. I’m okay exchanging “clanker” for “corporate dogshit,” but then that would ruin your opportunity to manufacture outrage.
Edit: legit hope this is satire because it’s such a dumb take if real.
Do you really not see the similarities between those words, and between their usage? Y’all are quick to jump to using slurs like y’all would be spitting the n-word if it were suddenly a thing anyone could just do normally, no biggy.
No I do not. One was used as a derogatory term by racists. One is used to describe AI.
I reckon both are used with derogatory intent. One, however, is offensive to people. The other is meant for AI and is not deemed offensive
Which is not even remotely true. One is a garbage word used to insult an entire race that was enslaved for decades. The other is for corporate AI that has no humanity and was created on the backs of the working class, in order to undermine and in some cases, replace the worker. It takes like 2 seconds to look beyond the surface to see that this is not the same. I’m just gonna assume this is satire because it’s such a stupid take.
I would never use the n-word because I’m not a racist piece of shit.
Dang, you’re right. My bad. I can’t believe I likened such a bad word to one that carries no such weight. I had not realised this obvious fact, but having been enlightened, I hereby take back everything I have said on that regard, and apologise profoundly.
