The last paragraph made me lol: “The Independent has contacted The White House, the Federal Reserve, the National Security Agency, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Israeli government, Elon Musk’s X-Corp, T-Mobile, and Warner Bros. Studios for comment.

      Doesn’t have to win…

It’s gonna get a shit ton of publicity and another huge sign that the far right is fracturing and trump can’t control them.

It’s not being talked about in the media, but it’s not hard to put it together. Maga was always a loose coalitions of random groups who wanted someone besides Hillary/Joe/Kamala, and for whatever reason expected trump to support their own pet issues over everyone else’s.

Every time he tries to appease 1 group, it makes every other group pissed their issue hasn’t been addressed.

For this guy it’s the Epstein list, and he’s not alone. But trump’s never gonna release it, because he’s in it, and it would instantly loose blackmail value on everyone else.

He’d get nowhere near that amount. You can ask for whatever you want in a lawsuit - it’s fiction though. The court will determine damages.

I didn’t even really take in the amount he was suing for until going back to check after your comment. What a ludicrous amount. Might as well demand 40 quadrillion dollars at that point. It’s clearly just made up bullshit to get attention.

When the John Candy biopic came out at TIFF this year it caused me to reflect on Phil more. I’m 48 and although Canadian, Phil and his sensibilities resounded more with me as a child. It’s amazing to have someone who did as much as he did in his career and still long for what we missed out on

As a parallel I suggest to anyone who hasn’t, please watch Dirty Work. Norm MacDonald also left us far too soon and that movie is a comedic masterpiece.

[He] has claimed that he is the rightful commander-in-chief. (…) The entire complaint (…) is presented in a single paragraph.
The QAnon shaman would also print a one-ounce gold coin, valued at $40 trillion, to pay off the country’s debts.

The whole article reads like the Onion, but it’s literally just a fucking clown trying to get attention

You laugh but it’s not far from some of the claims and promises Trump has made. Starting with his “joke” about running for President, that everyone thought was so funny…
