I know there’s a strong inclination to jump in and help (and good on you for wanting to), but it’s actually better not to put yourself at risk, because then you might be injured too

Holy shit. Calling for help is awesome. I would not have thought that area of town at all unsafe at this time of night (I am a Westie too) 😲 that’s scary.
Makes me glad I live VERY close to train station in a well lit area. But still.
